What is your cancellation policy?Customers may cancel up to 5 days before the event and receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the event will result in a 50% cancellation fee.

What is included with each rental?Each rental includes the equipment you’ve selected, delivery, setup, and takedown services. Some items may come with additional accessories or supplies (e.g., popcorn kernels, oil, or serving bags). For specific details, check the product descriptions on our website.

Do you offer free delivery?Yes! We provide delivery, setup, and takedown for all rentals within 20 miles of 44060. Delivery fees may apply for locations outside of our standard delivery zone at $2/mile. Please contact us for a delivery quote if you are outside of our standard service area.

Can I rent items for indoor or outdoor events?Yes, most of our items are suitable for both indoor and outdoor events. If you’re planning an outdoor event, please let us know in advance, as some rentals require flat, dry areas to ensure safety.

Do I need to supervise the equipment?Yes, for certain items like the bounce house, we recommend having a designated supervisor to ensure safe use, especially for younger guests. We can provide guidelines on proper use during setup.

What should I do if the rental items arrive in poor condition?When the rental items arrive, inspect them immediately. If you notice any defects or issues, please notify Playful Occasions right away. We want to ensure everything is in good condition for your event.

Am I responsible for any damage or loss?You are responsible for ensuring that the rental items are used properly. If any damage occurs due to misuse or neglect, you will be liable for the repair or replacement costs. If the items are damaged during normal use, Playful Occasions will take care of repairs or replacements at no additional cost.

What if the weather isn’t suitable for inflatable rentals?We prioritize safety and do not set up inflatables in winds exceeding 15 MPH or in rainy conditions. If weather conditions are not suitable for safe use, you will receive a 100% refund of the booking amount. Please make sure to keep an eye on weather forecasts, as weather-related cancellations are not the responsibility of Playful Occasions.

What are the safety rules for soft play or inflatable equipment?Rules for Soft Play and Inflatables: Supervision: Adult supervision is required at all times when children are using the equipment. Prohibited Substances: No shoes, pets, face paint, glitter, or food and drinks are allowed on or inside the equipment. Safety Guidelines: Ensure shoes and sharp objects are removed before entering, and no roughhousing or flips are allowed. Environmental Restrictions: Equipment must be set up on flat, clean surfaces. Playful Occasions reserves the right to refuse setup in unsafe conditions.

Is there a minimum order requirement?Yes! To book with Playful Occasions, your order subtotal must be at least $150 before taxes and fees. Why is there a minimum order? Every celebration deserves a seamless, stress-free setup, and our minimum order helps make that happen! It allows us to provide high-quality rentals, handle delivery and setup with care, and ensure your event is filled with fun—without any hidden fees or hourly charges. What happens if my order is below $150? If your subtotal doesn’t meet the $150 minimum, you won’t be able to check out. But don’t worry—there are plenty of ways to elevate your event! Consider adding more interactive rentals, stylish décor, or playful extras to make your celebration even more special.
